How do we operate the photo booth once is at the venue?
The booth will be set-up ready to go! All you and your guests have to do is get in push a button and let the friendly voice instructions guide you through the rest. It is very simple and even the tipsiest of guests will get it!
Will the photos fade?
The photos will not fade and can last up to 100 years. Also, there’s no ink to dry or smudge. They won’t show a fingerprint and are even water resistant.
Being digital, the photo booth is 100% chemical-free, unlike old-fashioned photo booths.
How much time does it take to print a photo sticker?
A 4-Frame photo prints in 16 seconds – the fastest vending machine in the industry.
How does the photo booth work?
You and your friends get into the booth, press the button – follow the voice instructions and pose for four pictures. There are 2 LCD screens inside the booth so you can move the picture to the centre as well as adding some colour, frame and words. You get out of the booth and in 16 seconds you can collect your photos outside the booth. It’s as easy as that!!
What’s the unique Logo Option for?
Unique to our Photo booths, the logo option allows you to add your logo, special event announcement, or promotional image/message to every photo. It is generally a big hit with corporate functions, because the company logo and/or message can be added in the last frame of every photo. It can also be very effective for birthdays and weddings, depending on what your preferences are! You just need to send in the logo via email, and we will program it into the photo booth.
How far in advance should we reserve a Short on Looks photo booth?
We book up quickly, especially during Christmas, so in order to avoid any disappointment, the more notice, the better. An initial transferable non-refundable deposit of 20% secures your date.
How does the delivery and pick-up work? – I don’t want people removing the photo booth mid-reception!
We are fully aware of this and that is why all our booths are fitted with internal timers. We will liaise with the venue and make sure the booth is set up well before your function and we generally will pick the booth up after guests have left or the next day. This obviously varies from venue to venue.
How long is the standard rental?
Depending on which package <Link to packages page> you choose; it would be 3 hours or 5 hours of unlimited photos. We feel that these are the most common durations for most functions, whether it be a wedding or corporate function. Of course we are flexible, and can tailor a package to suit your specific needs – just contact us, and we will more than happy to provide a quote.

How do I pay for the hire of a Short on Looks photo booth?
There are three main forms of payment accepted by Short on Looks photo booths:
- Direct Deposit into nominated bank account.
- Cash
- Bank cheque or personal check (must allow 7 working days to clear)
